Halfway Homebuoy is set to hit the stage at The Lair @ The Metro on Thursday the 24th of May to compete in the Emergenza Festival 2012 – The World’s Biggest Live Band Festival! The contest is judged on crowd votes so all your support is greatly appreciated! The guys will be playing new songs from the forthcoming album as well as some old ones. Tickets are $15 through the band here or alternatively tickets are $20 at the door.

Halfway Homebuoy relocated from Europe and have now made Sydney their home. Halfway Homebuoy signed a publishing deal with Marshall Cullen and his Indie label Foghorn records. In June 2011 the band released Crossing Borders a six song EP gaining airplay throughout Australia and the U.K. The EP was produced by Russell Pilling and recorded at the Damien Gerard studios in Sydney. The first two singles from the EP Let Me Go and Life Goes On were well received with Life goes on being named song of the week on the Muzik reviews website during February 2012 keep reading.
